Opening of Mainfrucht’s New Logistics Center – A Facility That Does More Than Just Store Goods
With our new logistics center, we are taking the next step toward the future. Following a construction period from September 2024 to May 2026, a modern facility has been created that significantly supports our day-to-day operations.
The high-bay warehouse offers approximately 16,000 pallet spaces and is operated by two automated storage and retrieval systems. Order picking is now also fully automated—especially for mixed pallets in the bag-in-box section.
At the same time, a refrigerated storage environment between 4 and 6 °C ensures the proper quality of our products. For added safety, the warehouse is equipped with a low-oxygen atmosphere.
We celebrated the grand opening in style—with music, good food, and many familiar faces. It was a successful celebration at our Gochsheim location.
