Joining forces for seriously ill children

Our social commitment to Team Rynkeby has become a long-standing tradition within the Grünewald Group. We are therefore all the more pleased to once again support the important work of Team Rynkeby this year. For several years now, we have been actively involved as a sponsor of this special initiative. In the 2025/26 anniversary year, this partnership fills us with particular pride.

Team Rynkeby is an international charity initiative in which dedicated amateur cyclists ride their bikes to Paris every year. Their goal is to raise donations for seriously ill children and their families. In Germany, all funds raised are donated to the German Childhood Cancer Foundation, which has been supporting affected children, young people and their families for many years.

A project that makes a difference

What began as a small initiative has grown over the years into one of Europe’s largest charity cycling movements. Today, Team Rynkeby consists of more than 60 teams in eight European countries. Thousands of participants invest their free time, train for months and cover their own expenses – all with the aim of raising as many donations as possible for a good cause.

In doing so, the participating teams and their sponsors make a direct contribution to improving the lives of children facing life‑threatening illnesses and give their families hope and perspective.

Since its founding in 2002, more than €100 million has been raised for seriously ill children in this way. This development is impressive and clearly demonstrates the strength of a shared commitment to making a real difference.

Making a difference together

For the Grünewald Group, long-term support of Team Rynkeby is a conscious decision based on conviction and goes far beyond pure sponsorship. What connects us is the desire to make a difference together with many committed people and companies and to take responsibility for a meaningful cause.

As a company with strong regional roots and an international outlook, it is natural for us to think beyond our own business. The partnership with Team Rynkeby shows how economic success and social responsibility can be meaningfully combined.

We wish all Team Rynkeby participants a successful and safe ride to Paris and would like to thank everyone who makes this extraordinary project possible. Together, we can help give children and their families hope in difficult times.
